Pakistan Army Chief Doubts If Afghanistan is ready for pull-out


Seville : Army Chief of Pakistan has doubted if neighboring Afghanistan would be ready for international troops to leave by 2014 as planned. 

General Ashfaq Kayani told Reuters at a NATO Military Committee conference in the Spanish city of Seville, "Frankly, I have my doubts, No date can be a final date," he said.

Another Afghan Governor killed by Taliban



KABUL: Taliban roadside bomb blows up the vehicle of an Afghan district governor and three of his guards on Tuesday in the east of the country, according to an official.

The governor of Sherzad district in Nangarhar province, was killed along with his guards while driving to work in the troubled region.

August the Deadliest Month Ever In Afghan war


Washington : The month of August has claimed the lives of 66 U.S. service members in Afghanistan. According to The Associated Press that makes August the deadliest month in the nearly 10-year-old war. The previous record was in July 2010, when 65 service members were killed.

August's number includes the 30 American troops killed on Aug. 6, when insurgents shot down a Chinook helicopter.

Taliban will not Participate in Bonn Conference, Mullah Omer


Kabul : In an Eid message, the Taliban Leader Mullah Mohammad Omar said that the Taliban will not participate in Bonn Conference as it is only symboic and Afghanistan will not be represented by genuine representatives of Afghans in Bonn Conference.

He further siad that the topics that will be discussed at Bonn conference have already been decided upon in Washington and in the Pentagon. He expressed his opposition to the establishment of permanent US military bases in Afghanistan.

Globalists has Planned to Stay in Afghanistan Forever


Globalists has planned to stay in Afghanistan forever. The Telegraph column by Ben Farmer suggested that the U.S. and Afghanistan have reached an agreement that would allow American special forces and air force to remain in the country until 2024. The agreement arrives as the United States claims it will pack up and leave by the end of 2014.
