Libyan Rebels Committed War Crimes, Amnesty International


BRUSSELS: In a report, Amnesty International has said that the Libyan Rebels fighting to topple Moammar Gadhafi committed unlawful killings and torture.

The report which was based on three months of investigation in Libya, draws no equivalency between the crimes of Gadhafi loyalists and those of the former rebels, who now hold power in Tripoli:

US Missile kills three in North wazistan on 9/11 aniversary


North Wazirstan : A suspected US missile strike has killed three people in North Waziristan according to Pakistani intelligence officials.

The two officials say a pair of missiles Sunday struck a house near Mir Ali town in North Waziristan which kills three people, people of wana and North waziristan have been protesting long against unknown drone attacks by US with out the permission of a sovereign country and which often kill innocent people.

India beat Pakistan on penalties to win Asian Champions Trophy


Ordos, China :  India beat arch-rivals Pakistan 4-2 on penalties to win the inaugural Asian Champions Trophy here as both teams played an attacking game but failed to score and the match went to penalties after 15 minutes of extra time.

Although Pakistan got very good chance to score in normal time when they were awarded five penalty corners but they failed to convert a single one. The score remained 0-0 in extra time too and the match had to be decided on penalties.

Egypt to try Protesters who attacked Israel embassy


CAIRO : In a televised statement, the Information Minister Osama Hassan Heikal made the announced that the protesters who attacked on Israeli embassy would be tried in an emergency state security court,   Reuters agency reported.

The United States has severly criticised the storming of the tower that houses the Israeli embassy and demanded from Eqyptian authorities to protect the embassy.

I am Hurdle in Plans of dividing Pakistan, Altaf Hussain


London : Addressing a three hours long video conference the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has said that the international conspirators want to divide Pakistan,. 

“I may be killed because I am a hurdle in plans of dividing Pakistan” Altaf said. He also showed a map of the region in which Pakistan was divided. 

He accused the Jamat-e-Islami (JI) of paying Haqiqi members to fire on an MQM rally during May 12 and fueling the violence which took place in Karachi on that day. 

Egyptian Protesters attack and torched Israeli embassy in Cairo


CAIRO: Hundred of protesters dumped thousands of Israeli embassy documents from the building housing the mission after they took down its flag and threw it to the crowd prompting Israeli ambassador to flee out of the country to head back to Israel. 

Egypt’s Interior Minister Mansur al-Eissawy declared a state of high alert and the government announced it was convening an emergency meeting to deal with the crisis. Early Saturday, Israel’s ambassador flew out of the country, heading back to Israel, sources at Cairo airport told AFP.
