Eid-ul-Fitr Celebrated in Pakistan today
KARACHI: Eidul Fitr is celebrated in Pakistan today with strict security measures adopted to face any terror attacks.
Meanwhile, Eid was celebrated in Saudi Arabia yesterday which was as usual followed by few districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and all tribal agencies as well as Frontier Regions.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti along with his members of his cabinet celebrated Eid in accordance with an announcement by the local unofficial moon sighting committee of Masjid Qasim Ali Khan.

Pakistan announces Cricket Tour Schedule with Sri Lanka
KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the schedule of Cricket series against Sri Lanka to be played in the neutral territory of the United Arab Emirates.
Since the terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team bus in Lahore two years ago Pakistan have been forced to play on foreign soil.
The series will also see the revival of Test cricket at the Sharjah stadium after 11 years after Pakistan and Australia last played Tests at the desert venue in 2002.
Gaddafi Family flee to Algeria
Algeria : The wife of Muammar Gaddafi along with three of his children reached Algeria on Monday to took refuge there but the whereabouts of the Colonel Gaddafi remained a mystery a week after rebels drove him from power.
Gaddafi’s wife Safia, his daughter Aisha and his sons Hannibal and Mohammed had entered Algeria on Monday morning according to Algeria’s Foreign Ministry.

Killing of Five Children and women, charges against Australian soldier dropped
SYDNEY: Australian Military has announced that their soldiers will not face a court martial over the death of six civilians, including five children, during a 2009 raid in Afghanistan.
Earlier three Australian soldiers were charged over the deaths which occurred as special operations soldiers were clearing a compound where they believed a Taliban leader was hiding.

Israeli Army Equips the West Bank settlers with Assault rifles, Stun Grenades
JERUSALEM: According to newpaper Haaretz, the Israeli Army is equipping the West Bank settlers with Assult rifles, tear gas and stun grenades to help repel any violent protests by Palestinians when their leaders try to secure UN membership in September this year.
The Israeli Newpaper Haaretz said the military had been giving special training to settlement security chiefs and their teams at army bases asthe most settlers already have assault rifles or pistols.

Three brothers killed in a firing incident in Lahore
LAHORE: A firing incident in Punjab's Capital city Lahore claims the lives of three brothers near Shalimar Hospital on Tuesday.
According to Police the brothers were on their way to the airport in a Suzuki when unknown assailants began shooting at their vehicle.
Two brothers died on the spot whereas the third one succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.
