LONDON: Britain Prime Minister David Cameron has said that UK and the United States lost some of their moral authority through some of the measures they put in place after the September 11th attacks.
Talking to Al Jazeera television in an interview to mark the 10th anniversary that some measures, such as the establishment of the Guantanamo Bay detention camp, had been a mistake.
“We can certainly see with hindsight and in some ways at the time, mistakes were made in that we lost some of our moral authority, which is vital to keep when you’re trying to make your case in the world,” Cameron said.
