Next Gaza Flotilla will be backed up by Turkish Warships, Tayyap Erdogan


Ankara : Turkish premier Tayyip Erdogan called for Israel to be punished for its attack on the flotilla on Monday and said 'nothing would ever be the same' in relations between the two allies. 'Israel's behaviour should definitely, definitely be punished. No one should try to test Turkey's patience,

Greta Berlin, of the Free Gaza Movement, which organised the flotilla at the centre of Monday's confrontation, said it would not be deterred by the Israeli action and that one of the two latest cargo ships was already off the coast of Italy en route for Gaza.

Obama Administration Threatens to Veto Palestinian Statehood bid in UN


UNITED NATIONS: Obama’s administration has threatened to veto any resolution seeking statehood that is put to the UN Security Council as the Palestinian diplomats are refusing to say how they intend to form their demand. 

The legal ramifications of just voting for a simple statement in the 193-member UN General Assembly backing the Palestinian cause worries Israel and United State. 

Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas has said he will meet UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in New York on September 20 to put the Palestinian demand. 

Pakistan vs Zimbabwe, first one day, Malik and Tanveer Join back


Bulawayo : Shoaib Malik and Sohail Tanveer has joined back in the first one day of three matches against Zimbabwe here. Malik has joined back after ‘break’ of over a year as Pakistan  .

Left arm fast bowler Sohail Tanvir also made a similar comeback to the team after a string of injuries put him out of action.
