Proof against MQM given to ISI chief, Zulfiqar Mirza

KARACHI: Dr Zulfikar Mirza has claimed that he has handed over the evidence against the MQM based on documents which he had carried with him in a briefcase to ISI Chief Gen Shuja Pasha in a meeting which spanned over two hours few days ago.

In an Interview to private Pakistani channel Dr Zulfiqar Mirza said that “I have left some of the copies of documents with the ISI chief". "This was my second meeting with Gen Pasha and President Zardari knew about it,” he added.

Army is Ready to Restore Peace in Karachi if asked by Governemnt, General Ashfaq Kiyani

ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani expressed grave concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi and said the Army was ready to restore peace in the mega city if asked by the government. 

The General Kiyani said that it was the duty of the Army to serve the nation.He parried a question on whether the government had made any contact with him for calling out the Army in Karachi.

Turkey to Challenge Gaza Blockade

Ankara, Turkey has siad that it will challange the illegal Gaza blockade by Israel in International Court of Justice, Yesterday Turkey has expelled the Israeli ambasador from Turkey and ended Military ties with Israel. 

The anger came after a UN report inquiring the Trukish lead freedom Flotilla that killed nine pro-palestinain people, The report came short of crtisizing the Israeli Govrnment and Trukey immediately rejected the report. 

Gay-Themed Magazine for US Army and Air bases

WASHINGTON: For the First time US officials have approved the distribution of a gay-themed magazine at Army and Air Force bases, coinciding with the end of a ban on openly gay troops. 

OutServe Magazine, which caters to gay members of the armed forces, said it would deliver a special “repeal issue” on September 20, the day the prohibition against openly gay US service members is due to officially end.
