Forty-four killed in Russian hockey team jet crash


MOSCOW: A Russian Plane carrying an ice hockey team crashed on take-off, killing Forty-four people and strangely one man survived. 

A chartered Yak-42 passenger jet took off from Yaroslavl airport some 300 kilometres (185 miles) northeast of Moscow.

Two PIA Planes got Bomb threats


KARACHI: Two Planes from Pakistan Internatioanl Airline received bombs threats on Wednesday, and both landed safely, one in Turkey, the other in Malaysia. 

The first flight was headed for Manchester, England, when it was notified of the threat near the Bulgarian capital of Sofia, and contacted the control tower in Istanbul to seek permission for the landing, state-run state-run Anatolia news agency reported.
