U.S. Suspects ISI Link behind Kabul Embassy Attacks

A helicopter hovers over US Embassy in Kabul

WASHINGTON : The Western media is reporting that the U.S. officials are looking for evidence that directly links elements of Pakistan's powerful spy agency to this week's assault on the U.S. Embassy and coalition headquarters in Kabul which claimed many lives.

US has already announced the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, and they suspect Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Pakistani spy agency may have closely embrace the Haqqani network.

Pakistan has dismissed the suspicions as insulting and unfair to an ally who has given many sacrifices to fight against Al Qaeda and the Taliban.
